R-FoodTech commissioned a Lagarde steam and air retort for a New South american customer. He is a wet petfood producer in plastic trays and pouches, part of one of the major food group of the Area.
He is already equipped with water based process and decided to use Lagarde steam and air process because of the efficiency and quality of heat treatment. After complying with validation, heat treatment cycle time is reduced between 20% and 27%. Customer will replace all of his water based process retorts by Lagarde steam and air's in a short time.
